Battling Without Bosh, Miami Heat Drop Fourth Straight Game

LeBron James as Heat lose to HawksMIAMI -- There's something about the Atlanta Hawks and the Miami Heat that bring out the worst in each other. Tuesday night was no exception, and it was easily one of the uglier losses for the Heat so far this season.

Exactly two weeks had passed since the Heat had played at the AmericanAirlines Arena and the rust was apparent from both the team and a crowd waiting for a spark to get them off their seats. After winning 21 of 22 games, the Heat have cooled off with their longest losing streak of the season at four in a row. The health of the Big 3 has been a big factor in their recent struggles as Chris Bosh missed his first game of the season while Dwyane Wade and LeBron James sat out practice the day before as they nursed an assortment of injuries. Refusing to give excuses, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra chose instead to look forward despite their recent setback.
