Dwayne Bowe Wins AFC Award

Dwayne Bowe on Wednesday became the first Chiefs receiver in 19 years to be recognized as the AFC offensive player of the week following his performance in last Sunday's victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Bowe had six catches for 153 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown reception in a 34-14 win that, coupled with San Diego's subsequent loss to Cincinnati, allowed the Chiefs to clinch their first division title since 2003.
