Brandon McDonald was all smiles on D.C. United's training ground today. Since arriving at RFK on June 28, the Arizona native has become a staple of United's backline and its recent resurgence. Yesterday the club re-signed the physical central defender, keeping McDonald in D.C. for years to come. McDonald has played in nine matches since joining United, starting each of those contests. In that span, the 25-year-old has helped the club to a 3-2-4 record, including four shutout performances.
