D.C. United staff, supporters, and Volkswagen employees kicked off May by volunteering at DC Central Kitchen on Tuesday, May 3. The Black-and-Red helped chefs from the Culinary Job Training program slice and dice salad ingredients, bake chicken, create side dishes, and prepare the meals for distribution to DC Central Kitchen clients such as homeless shelters, rehabilitation clinics, and after-school programs in underserved areas.
